The 2022 Genie Music Awards, which was reduced in the aftermath of the Itaewon disaster, successfully took place.
At 7PM (KST) on November 8th, the 2022 Genie Music Awards was held at Incheon Namdong Gymnasium. This is the first time after 3 years since 2019 the award ceremony will be held offline, but the red carpet event and online live broadcast was canceled in the aftermath of the Itaewon disaster.
