Ktown4U! has recently announced the list of top 10 K-pop idols with the most magazine covers sold on this platform.
1st place: V (BTS) – Vogue October 2022 issue
Thanks to the handsome appearance of BTS V on the cover of the October 2022 issue of Vogue in collaboration with the jewelry brand Cartier, 52 thousand copies of the magazine were quickly sold on Ktown4U!. This is the highest magazine sales record recorded by an idol.
2nd place: G-Dragon (BIGBANG) – Vogue October 2020 issue
G-Dragon has always been highly appreciated by netizens for his excellent fashion sense and was dubbed as “the trending king” of K-pop. The leader of BIGBANG once recorded the sales of more than 36,000 copies for the November 2020 issue of Vogue.
3rd place: Baekhyun (EXO) – Harper’s Bazaar October 2020 issue
Known as one of the most popular EXO members and possessing a strong fan base, Baekhyun has sold nearly 28,000 copies of the October 2020 issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine.
4th place: Baekhyun (EXO) – W May 2020 issue
In May 2020, W magazine sold more than 27,000 copies thanks to Baekhyun’s appearance on the cover of the issue.
5th place: Rosé (BLACKPINK) – Elle July 2020 issue
Rosé is the first member of BLACKPINK to appear on this list of Ktown4U!. The female idol of YG Entertainment has sold nearly 26,000 copies of Elle’s July 2020 issue.
6th place: G-Dragon (BIGBANG) – Dazed May 2021 issue
This is the second time G-Dragon’s name was called on the list of top 10 idols with the best-selling magazine covers. Appearing on the cover of the May 2021 issue, the male idol helped Dazed magazine sold 17,000 copies.
7th place: Taeyong (NCT) – W February 2022 issue
In February 2022, Taeyong surprised many audiences when he appeared in a rebellious and seductive image on the cover of W magazine. Thanks to that, the February 2022 issue of W recorded sales of more than 16,000 copies.
8th place: Taemin (SHINee/SuperM) – Elle October 2020 issue
As a senior K-pop idol who works in multiple fields, Taemin successfully created himself a strong fanbase. 15,000 copies of Elle October 2020 issue were sold thanks to the appearance of Taemin on the cover.
9th place: Jaemin (NCT) – WWD October 2021 issue
Appearing on the cover of WWD magazine, the male idol sales record for the October 2021 issue was 2,000 copies.
10th place: Lisa (BLACKPINK) – Elle April 2021 issue
Among all of Lisa’s appearances on famous fashion magazines like Vogue, W…, the April 2021 issue of Elle magazine was the highest sales record of the youngest BLACKPINK member with 11,000 copies for the issue.
