According to reports from Chinese media outlet Sohu, the video of Zhou ye was reportedly filmed in late April and mid-May at a luxury apartment complex in Beijing. The footage allegedly captured Zhou Ye affectionately hugging and kissing her rumored boyfriend, with some clips sparking particularly intense reactions among netizens due to the couple’s bold public displays of affection.
The dating clips immediately climbed to the No.1 trending topic on Weibo, with many internet users eager to uncover the identity of the man seen alongside the actress.
Soon after, Chinese netizens identified the rumored boyfriend as Zhu Haoqi, a rookie actor born in 2003 who is reportedly five years younger than Zhou Ye.
Zhu Haoqi graduated from the Beijing Film Academy’s 2021 class and is currently signed under WJJW Entertainment. He is also set to appear in the upcoming film adaptation of Hidden Love, where he plays the supporting role Yu Linling ahead of the movie’s June 12 release.
Neither Zhou Ye nor Zhu Haoqi has publicly addressed the dating rumors so far.
The relationship rumors have attracted even greater attention because Zhou Ye is currently considered one of the most talked-about young actresses in Chinese entertainment.
