Zheng Shuang released an official statement about the child abuse controversy: A clapback at Zhang Heng and a revelation of the children’s current well-being
Zheng Shuang made her move against Zhang Heng’s accusation.
On January 7th, Zheng Shuang officially spoke up through her lawyer about the child abuse allegation from her ex, Zhang Heng. She denied all accusations from him and affirmed she would never abuse or neglect her children.
Zheng Shuang’s side said, up to the current point, the actress has not been caught in any legal issue involving child abuse. The only investigation of authorities on January 4th, 2023 lasted 5 minutes and concluded that her two children were still happy and healthy. They did not issue any surveilling measures or carry on with other investigations on the actress.
In March 2022, the Court “subtantially” increased Zheng Shuang’s visiting and parenting time, including allowing the children to stay overnight in the mother’s house each week. The actress also stated, because Zhang Heng always faild to win over custody, he spread false information to raise suspicion over Zheng Shuang’s love for her children.
“Lucas and Luna is currently living happily under my protection in Colorado. When their father left for California to open a press conference to defame their mother,” Zheng Shuang said.
Zheng Shuang’s father also spoke up to back up his daughter. He confirmed to have watch Zhang Heng’s livestream and said he “could not stand” a “low move” to “deceive” the media before the child custody trial on January 9th.
Currently, Zheng Shuang and Zhang Heng is preparing for their fight over child custody on January 9th, gaining close attention from netizens.
