A controversial video featuring ZEROBASEONE’s Ricky has ignited heated debate online after fans alleged the idol was subjected to inappropriate physical contact by a staff member.
In the viral clip shared on TikTok, Ricky is seen sitting beside a manager who initially appears to massage his shoulder. Moments later, the staff member’s hand moves out of frame behind Ricky’s back prompting the idol to visibly flinch, leading to speculation that the contact was unwelcome.

The short video, which has surpassed 200,000 views, quickly spread across social media platforms, sparking widespread discussion. Some users defended the staff member, suggesting that Ricky may have mentioned back pain, prompting the employee to offer help.
However, many others found the interaction uncomfortable to watch, arguing that Ricky’s reaction indicated distress. Fans expressed concern about his well-being and pointed to previous instances where the idol allegedly appeared mistreated by his agency, WAKEONE Entertainment.
“Even if it was meant as a massage, his discomfort is obvious,” one fan commented.
“Ricky deserves to feel safe in his workplace this doesn’t look professional at all,” another wrote.
Several fans also recalled past occasions where Ricky seemingly expressed dissatisfaction or frustration during promotions, reigniting criticism toward WAKEONE’s handling of the group.

The comment sections under the viral clip have since filled with calls for official clarification and accountability, with phrases such as “Protect Ricky” and “WAKEONE explain this” trending among ZEROBASEONE fans.
As of now, WAKEONE Entertainment has not released an official statement regarding the circulating video. The agency’s silence has only intensified speculation and debate within the fan community.
This latest controversy comes amid ZEROBASEONE’s ongoing promotional activities, during which fans continue to emphasize the need for better artist care and protection within idol management systems.
