The Best New Male Artist and Best New Female Artist Awards at the 2023 MAMA belonged to ZEROBASEONE and TripleS, respectively
On November 29, at the 2023 MAMA AWARDS held at Tokyo Dome in Japan, ZEROBASEONE (ZB1) was confirmed as the winner of the Best New Male Artist Award.
Competing as nominees were BOYNEXTDOOR, EVNNE, RIIZE, xikers, and ZEROBASEONE.
Regarding this achievement, ZEROBASEONE expressed, “We are delighted to receive the male rookie award, which you can only receive once in a lifetime. Thank you to the ZEROSEs (fandom name) who love and support us.”
Meanwhile, girl group TripleS became the winner of Best New Female Artist Award against ADYA, EL7Z UP, KISS OF LIFE, and LIMELIGHT.
Unable to attend the awards ceremony, Triple S conveyed their gratitude through a video message.
“It is an honor and happiness to receive the rookie award that comes once in a lifetime,” the girl group said, adding, “We want to thank everyone who has worked hard for us” and “We will show various aspects of Triple S. Please look forward to it.”
