As Netflix’s drama “All of Us Are Dead” has gained worldwide popularity, interest in actors is also growing.
The news that one of them has been acting and working part-time at the same time until recently attracted attention. He is rookie actor Im Jae-hyuk, who plays Yang Dae-su in “All of Us Are Dead“.
Reporter-turned-YouTuber Lee Jin-ho said in a video uploaded on his YouTube channel on Feb 3rd, “Im Jae-hyuk is not a full-time actor yet.”
He shared, “I heard interesting stories during the phone call with an official from Im Jae-hyuk’s agency. Although Im Jae-hyuk hit the jackpot with ‘All of Us Are Dead’, he’s still doing part-time jobs such as manual labor and delivery.”
Lee Jin-ho surprised everyone by revealing, “Im Jae-hyuk lost 30kg when he signed a contract with his agency in 2019, but when he took on the role of Yang Dae-su in ‘All of Us Are Dead’, he gained 32kg the following year. After the work, he lost 25kg again and is currently maintaining 82kg.”
Im Jae-hyuk (27 years old) received attention as he entered the National University of Arts in 2016 at the top of his class. Afterwards, he made his face known through the web drama “Cat’s Bar” and SBS’s drama “Alice”. In “All of Us Are Dead”, he transforms into Yang Dae-su, who possesses extraordinary strength.
Meanwhile, “All of Us Are Dead” tells the story of students, who are trapped in their school where the zombie virus began, struggling to survive together while waiting for a rescue. It is loved by fans around the world shortly after it was released on Netflix on Jan 28th.
