tvN’s new variety show Youth Over Flowers Limited Edition is set to premiere on May 3 at 7:30 p.m. KST. The new series has already drawn strong interest thanks to its cast lineup, which includes Jung Yu-mi, Park Seo-joon, and Choi Woo-shik.

The 3 actors previously showed excellent chemistry on the popular variety show Jinny’s Kitchen, which recorded a peak viewership rating of 11.1%. A teaser video released through the official channel on April 22 gave viewers a first look at the trio’s new trip.

Instead of polished footage filmed by a professional camera crew, the teaser was filled with clips personally filmed by the cast members. Jung Yu-mi, Park Seo-joon, and Choi Woo-shik were seen laughing freely on subways and trains, showing the natural friendship they have built over the years.

At one point, they joked, “Honestly, we’re funny even if we don’t do anything,” highlighting their relaxed and familiar chemistry. Jung Yu-mi especially drew attention for her easygoing attitude. Ahead of the trip, she said, “I don’t even need to apply toner or lotion,” hinting at the unpredictable and stripped-down nature of the journey. Park Seo-joon and Choi Woo-shik also showed their playful energy by acting out a dramatic zombie-movie-style scene in the middle of a train.

As suggested by the subtitle “Limited Edition,” the journey will not be easy. Choi Woo-shik is heard saying, “We have to play without money,” while Park Seo-joon unexpectedly asks, “Should we go to Jeonju and eat bibimbap?” Their comments hint at difficult conditions and unexpected missions during the trip.

The production team also teased more chaotic moments with the phrase “And more,” suggesting that Park Seo-joon’s impatience, Jung Yu-mi’s firm decision-making, and Choi Woo-shik’s desperation will collide in funny and unpredictable ways. Unlike earlier Youth Over Flowers seasons that focused on overseas travel and famous tourist destinations, Youth Over Flowers Limited Edition will follow a domestic wandering trip where the cast does not know where they will go or where they will sleep.

With limited money and uncertain conditions, Jung Yu-mi, Park Seo-joon, and Choi Woo-shik are expected to rely on each other while searching for small moments of romance, friendship, and laughter. Youth Over Flowers Limited Edition will premiere on May 3 at 7:30 p.m. KST on tvN.
