Actress Youn Yuh-jung will present at the 94th Academy Awards to be held on March 27th (local time).
On March 3rd (local time), the Academy Awards announced a list of the first presenters at the 94th Academy Awards through their official Instagram account. Hollywood actor Kevin Costner, Lady Gaga, Zoë Kravitz, Rosie Perez, Chris Rock as well as Korean actress Youn Yuh-jung were on the list.
Youn Yuh-jung won the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in the movie “Minari” at the 93rd Academy Awards last year. According to the convention that the previous year’s winner will award the same category for the opposite gender, Youn Yuh-jung is speculated to present the Best Supporting Actor award this year.
Recently, Youn Yuh-jung was announced as one of the “Women That Have Made an Impact in Global Entertainment” by Variety. Regarding Youn Yuh-jung, the media outlet introduced, “Youn Yuh-jung has been turning in outstanding performances for over four decades, but it took until 2021 for the U.S. to notice.”
Meanwhile, the 94th Academy Awards will be held in Los Angeles, USA on March 27th.
