In a preview clip released on September 10 titled “Top trending star Yoona of ‘Bon Appétit, Your Majesty’! Girls’ Generation’s dining rule and her mindset as an actress,” YoonA appeared alongside Yoo Jae-suk and Jo Se-ho, sharing behind-the-scenes stories about her group and her acting career.
Currently starring in tvN’s hit drama “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty”, YoonA admitted she is deeply invested in its performance. She confessed: “When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I do is check the ratings. Even if I wake up in the middle of the night, I refresh the page to check.”
Yoo Jae-suk praised her growing recognition as an actress, saying: “They even say ‘YoonA is a genre on her own now.’” YoonA responded with gratitude, saying she was touched by the compliment.
YoonA also revealed how Girls’ Generation maintains their tradition of gathering every year. She explained: “Tiffany’s birthday is just four days apart from our debut anniversary, so we celebrate both at the same time.”
When Jo Se-ho asked how the group handles the bill on such occasions, YoonA laughed and said their “rule for paying changes depending on the situation.” This sparked curiosity among fans about the group’s long-standing friendship and unique traditions.
Reflecting on her career transition, YoonA spoke about the challenges of being labeled an “idol-turned-actress.” She said: “I always thought, if I do well, then that’s what matters. If I fail, then there’s nothing left. If I can show something that convinces everyone, then people will have no choice but to acknowledge it. It all depends on me.”
YoonA also noted that her idol experience often helped her in acting roles: “Even when I had to do wire action scenes, I could say, ‘I’ve done this flying on stage at concerts.’”
