On June 28, Yoon Kyung Ho posted on his social media, writing, “It seems I may not be able to speak for 13 hours, so I wanted to leave the things I wanted to say here in advance.”

He continued, “SBS drama Agent Kim Reactivated achieved an incredible 15% viewership rating after only two episodes on air. More specifically, it recorded 15.7% nationwide and 15.9% in the Seoul metropolitan area. As one of the cast members of Agent Kim Reactivated, I sincerely thank all the viewers for giving us so much love. I honestly didn’t know how to properly express my gratitude, and then I remembered the promise I made during the production press conference. To be precise, it was thanks to Joo Sang Wook and Park Kyung Lim, who helped bring up the idea. I’d especially like to thank both of them.”

Yoon Kyung Ho also reflected on the promise itself, saying, “I wondered what meaning there would be in doing a 13-hour silence challenge alone. Who would it even be for? Then I remembered that actors Choi Dae Hoon and Son Na Eun immediately volunteered, saying, ‘We’ll do it with you.’ I’m truly grateful to my colleagues. I think Agent Kim Reactivated has received so much love because I was fortunate enough to work with people like them. By the way, So Ji Sub casually said that he’s usually quiet for 13 hours every day anyway.”

He admitted that reaching such a rating had seemed almost impossible. “I know how difficult it is for a drama to surpass a 13% rating, so although I secretly hoped for it, it was a number that felt impossible to imagine. When the first episode recorded an incredible 9.5%, I couldn’t believe my eyes.”

Yoon Kyung Ho added, “If I could, I would start the 13-hour silence challenge right now as a way of expressing my gratitude. However, I’m currently on a family trip after finally getting some free time for the first time in a very long while, so it’s difficult at the moment. As soon as I return, I will definitely take on the challenge for everyone who has been waiting.”

He concluded the post by listing the names of the cast members and production staff who worked alongside him on Agent Kim Reactivated, mentioning each of them in alphabetical order to express his appreciation.

Previously, during the Agent Kim Reactivated production press conference held on June 25, Yoon Kyung Ho had pledged that he would remain completely silent for 13 hours if the drama surpassed a 13% viewership rating.
