On June 28, Yoon Seung Ah uploaded several photos and videos to her social media without adding any caption.
The photos showed Yoon Seung Ah and Kim Mu Yeol standing side by side with a cake decorated with the words, “Netflix No.1!!!” Written across the cake, the message commemorated the drama’s remarkable achievement. The couple smiled brightly as they blew out the candles together, naturally expressing their joy.
Yoon Seung Ah looked elegant in a black suit, while Kim Mu Yeol completed a clean and sophisticated look with a white shirt paired with gray slacks. More than anything, fans were touched by the warm and affectionate gaze Yoon Seung Ah directed toward her husband.
The “Netflix No.1!!!” message celebrated the global success of Teach You a Lesson, the Netflix series starring Kim Mu Yeol. The drama reached No. 1 in Netflix’s Global TV rankings just three days after its release and continued its momentum by maintaining the top spot for three consecutive weeks.

Previously, a preview clip for tvN’s You Quiz on the Block, released on June 26, revealed the emotional story behind the moment Kim Mu Yeol and Yoon Seung Ah first learned that the series had reached No. 1 worldwide.
Kim Mu Yeol recalled, “Director Hong Jong Chan called me and said, ‘We made it to No. 1 globally.’ I was so overwhelmed that I couldn’t even speak. In front of my wife, I eventually burst into tears. We hugged each other and cried together. I think I’ll remember that moment for a very long time.”
Yoon Seung Ah shared her own perspective, saying, “Kim Mu Yeol is not someone who cries easily. I’ve only seen him cry a handful of times, but that day he kept saying, ‘Thank you,’ while crying.”

She added, “I’ve watched actor Kim Mu Yeol’s journey up close for a very long time, so this achievement felt especially meaningful to me. The first words that came to my mind were, ‘You’ve worked so hard,’ and I really wanted him to hear that.”
Kim Mu Yeol played Na Hwa Jin, an inspector from the Educational Rights Protection Bureau, in Teach You a Lesson. The series ranked No. 1 in 19 countries/regions, including South Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan, Singapore, the Philippines, and Malaysia, while also entering Netflix’s Top 10 in 85 countries/regions, continuing its impressive global success.
Yoon Seung Ah and Kim Mu Yeol married in 2015 and are parents to a son.
