Yook Sung-jae on “Knowing Bros”: Solving misunderstandings with Kang Ho-dong, surprised by the sudden wedding rumor raised by Min Kyung-hoon
BTOB Yook Sung-jae was surprised to hear the rumor of him getting married.
JTBC’s “Knowing Bros” broadcast aired on February 26th featured BTOB members, who gathered again as a whole group after fulfilling their military duty.
On this day, Yook Sung-jae expressed his disappointment, saying, “I was really disappointed (by Kang Ho-dong) during the time we appeared on ‘The Invisible Man’. He took good care of me so I tried to do my best. I dressed up in a ballerina costume and danced in the elevator. But after then, he didn’t even look for me.”
Kang Ho-dong got shocked then he replied, “I have my position. Sung-jae did well, so he was the first person I recommended to ‘Knowing Bros’ PD. Three days later, the production team said the plan was failed. I asked why, and they said they called the company but were rejected. They got dumped coldheartedly.”
Replying that he had never heard of that before, Yook Sung-jae said, “If so, I wouldn’t have appeared on ‘Master in the House’”. However, he still talked about a good story about Kang Ho-dong. Yook Sung-jae said, “I saw Ho-dong at a sushi restaurant. I went to him and greeted him, then Ho-dong had to leave first. He paid for the meal, but I didn’t have a phone back then. I wanted to contact him but couldn’t”.
Kang Ho-dong sadly said, “I thought he (Yook Sung-jae) forgot about me. We exchanged numbers with each other, but I wondered if I was the only one who keep it. Only I had a crush on him”. Yook Sung-jae replied, “When I called, it turned out to be a number that doesn’t exist”.
After resolving their misunderstandings, the two returned to the friendly atmosphere. Yook Sung-jae expressed his affection for Kang Ho-dong, saying, “Ho-dong is forever an idol in my heart”.
Then, Min Kyung-hoon suddenly told Yook Sung-jae, “I heard you you’re about to hold a wedding soon”, making everyone surprised. BTOB members were also shocked by the sudden marriage rumor. They turned to Yook Sung-jae and asked, “Are you getting married?”.
Min Kyung-hoon explained, “I heard it from a close acquaintance. I heard it every holiday, but my cousin wants to marry you. She has been a fan for 6-7 years, and she even waited for you when you were completing military service”, making everyone laugh. Yook Sung-jae also left a video letter for his fan, Min Kyung-hoon’s cousin.
