Actor Yoo Yeon-seok will take on the role of a serial killer and transform his image

On the afternoon of November 16th, a press conference for TVing’s new drama “A Bloody Lucky Day” were held at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall in Yongsan, Seoul. Director Pil-Sung-Sung, actors Lee Sung-min, Yoo Yeon-seok and actress Lee Jeong-eun attended the event.

A Bloody Lucky Day

“A Bloody Lucky Day” tells the story of an ordinary taxi driver, Oh Taek (Lee Sung-min), who was driving a customer (Yoo Yeon-seok) to Mokpo after he offered a high price. The taxi driver later realized that the customer was a serial killer and continued to run in fear. It is based on a popular webtoon of the same name.

Yoo Yeon-seok plays Geum Hyuk-soo, a serial killer who causes goosebumps with unpredictable words and actions of madness.

“I’ve never played a villain, and I’ve never seen such a vicious character,” he said.

“It was not easy to approach this character,” he said. “I was thinking about how to differentiate myself with the previous roles with similar psychopath setting. Rather than watching other works, I think I was trying to get hints by watching actual psychopath interviews and documentary movies,” he explained.
