Yoo Yeon-seok Recalls His Role In ‘Architecture 101’, “People Were Angry At Me Just For Taking Suzy Home”

Actor Yoo Yeon-seok complained of unfairness regarding his role in “Architecture 101”

Yoo Yeon-seok appeared on the November 22nd broadcast of tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block” (“You Quiz”). Despite being close to Yoo Jae-suk and Jo Se-ho, the actor still looked worried about appearing on the program. He shared, “I was very nervous because ‘You Quiz’ is like a program for famous people. I think I should say something that touches the hearts of the viewers but I’m afraid that I’d rather cry first”.

Yoo Yeon-seok played villain Yoo Ji-tae in Park Chan-wook’s movie “Old Boy”. After that, he began to play various supporting roles and minor roles. Among them, he once appeared in “Architecture 101” as a senior who interfered in the love of Lee Je-hoon and Suzy.

In this regard, Yoo Yeon-seok complained, “It is true that I played a villain who bullies Song Joong-ki and Park Bo-young in ‘A Werewolf Boy’. But in ‘Architecture 101’, the worst thing my character does is take Suzy home. He’s not even a villain, but people say he’s bad just for taking Suzy home.”

The actor continued, “I filmed the scene where I took Suzy home. But as the scene where Lee Je-hoon watched us from behind and cried was added, it made me become a bad guy.”
