On the October 12 episode of SBS’s Running Man, Yoo Jae-suk addressed concerns and speculation surrounding Ji Ye-eun, who is currently taking a break from the show due to health issues.

Earlier, it was reported that Ji Ye-eun had felt unwell and, upon visiting the hospital, was advised by doctors to take a rest. She is now expected to be on hiatus for over three weeks.

During the broadcast, Yoo Jae-suk explained, “Some people think her break is due to burnout because Ye-eun once talked about it before. But that’s not the case at all.”

Yoo Jae-suk further clarified, “She is currently receiving treatment. Her medical checkup showed that she needed to take care of something, so she’s resting now. I spoke to her on the phone, and she said she’s feeling much better.”

He assured viewers that once her treatment is complete, she will return in good health.

Meanwhile, this episode of Running Man featured a special “Middle-Class World” race and welcomed first-time guests Byun Yo-han, Kim Kang-woo, Bang Hyo-rin, and Yang Se-jong. All four expressed excitement about filming their first episode of the show.
