Yoo In-soo: “There’s a group chat of class 2-5 in “All Of Us Are Dead’ without me, Yoon Chan-young knows about it but…”
Actor Yoo In-soo expressed his affection as well as disappointment towards his colleague Yoon Chan-young.
Yoo In-soo recently expressed his feelings about Netflix’s original series “All Of Us Are Dead” (written by Chun Sung-il, directed by Lee Jae-kyu) through an interview at a studio in Gangseo-gu, Seoul at a studio in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
“All Of Us Are Dead” is a story that takes place in a high school where the zombie virus has spread, with the students being isolated and those who try to save them going through extreme situations where they are not sure what will happen. The series is based on a popular webtoon of the same name. Yoo In-soo played the role of Yoon Gwi-nam, the biggest villain in the drama.
Yoo In-soo said, “At first, we spent time together practicing choreography or action. As we worked hard to move our bodies, the cast naturally became closer. But when we started filming, I had a lot of time where I had to work alone. On the other hand, I was a little envious watching their group (Yoon Chan-young, Park Ji-hoo, etc.)’s relationships get stronger,” he confessed honestly.
Since “All Of Us Are Dead” was released on the 28th of last month, it has received enthusiastic responses, which has led to many self-congratulation moments between the cast. Yoo In-soo said, “There’s a group chat where we share articles about us and parody videos of the series,” he said.
Yoo In-soo continued, “(The group chat’s members) are all of the actors playing as students in the series. However, there are no senior actors. There are mostly actors who practiced action together at first,” he added.
Among them, Yoo In-soo expressed his disappointment, referring to the existence of a group chat room excluding him. In response, he said, “There is a group chat room of the kids of class 2-5. They mostly chat there. I and a group of people who were close to the bullies were in the bigger chat room that has everyone, and there was a separate group chat room for the kids of class 2-5,” he said.
“At first, I thought they exchanged photos personally because I saw group photos being uploaded. We took photos together, but I didn’t have those photos. They weren’t interested in whether I was there or not,” he said adding, “I talked to Yoon Chan-young, but he didn’t do anything even though he knew everything. He didn’t even reflect my signal,” he said jokingly.
