According to Kdrama Star, Yoo Ah In was reportedly not present when the police conducted a search and seizure of his two properties on March 7th. Moreover, unopened letters also piled up in front of his gate for more than a month.
Yoo Ah In’s neighbors revealed that the actor usually walked around his house but has not appeared for a long time. His sudden disappearance into thin air confuses the public and fans are demanding him to open a press conference to address the ongoing scandals.
Previously, the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety requested a police investigation on Yoo Ah In around November 2022 when the authority noticed the actor had frequently been prescribed with propofol at many hospitals from the start of 2021.
The “Hellbound” actor was sampled on February 5th after he landed at Incheon airport. On March 1st, the National Forensic Service said that Yoo Ah In was tested positive with 4 banned drugs, namely propofol, marijuana, ketamine and cocaine.
The police also announced he would be summoned for investigation on March 14th. Yoo Ah In’s agency confirmed the news. Previously, the investigating authority confisticated his two phones to look into 460 thousand messages and see how Yoo Ah In purchased and used the banned substances.
