Yoo Ah-in And Lee Sun-kyun On First Day Of Investigation: One Apologized, One Left Reporters Wait In Vain

Investigated for the same crime but these actors showed different reactions on the first day of their investigation at the police station

On the afternoon of Oct 28th, Lee Sun-kyun appeared at the Nonhyeon Police Station in Namdong-gu, Incheon to undergo questioning.

In front of reporters, Lee Sun-kyun lowered his head and said, “First of all, I’m very sorry for disappointing many people due to a shameful incident. Above all, I apologize to everyone who has believed in and supported me.”

He continued, “As stated through my agency, my stance on actively cooperating with the investigation agency remains unchanged. I’m sorry to my family who is enduring great pain at this very moment. Once again, I sincerely apologize to everyone.“

To reporters’ questions such as “Do you admit to the drug use allegations?“, “What kind of threats did you receive from the head of the adult entertainment establishment?“, “What aspects will you emphasize during the investigation?” and “What is your emotional state during the police investigation?“, Lee Sun-kyun replied, “I will cooperate sincerely with the investigation.”

In Yoo Ah-in’s case, his investigation time was disclosed but the actor refused to attend and left the reporters waiting in vain.

Unlike Yoo Ah-in, in front of the long-awaited reporters, Lee Sun-kyun bowed five times, apologizing, then headed to the police station.

Meanwhile, the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency’s drug crime investigation team will investigate actor Lee Sun-kyun on charges of marijuana use under the Narcotics Control Act and conduct drug administration tests on him.
