On the other hand, YG’s new girl group BABYMONSTER, who is about to debut, is also drawing attention. BABYMONSTER is YG’s first girl group to be launched after 7 years since BLACKPINK. It is a 7-member multinational girl group consisting of Korean members Ahyeon, Haram, Rora, Thai members Pharita, Chiquita and Japanese members Ruka, Asa.
They were selected through “BABYMONSTER – Last Evaluation”, which contains the process of selecting the final debut members. BABYMONSTER was praised by Yang Hyun Suk and YG seniors for their “all-rounder” skills, and all 7 people who participated in “BABYMONSTER – Last Evaluation” were listed on the final debut list.

Billboard selected them as “K-Pop star to watch” and evaluated, “BABYMONSTER is getting off to a strong start. They will create a new wave in the K-pop genre.”
BABYMONSTER, which has been attracting attention even before their debut, is preparing for their debut this fall. They are expected to show various images through team activities as well as unit activities.
