YG New Girl Group BABYMONSTER Enjoys Sweet Rest before Competition

YG’s new girl group BABYMONSTER has brought happy enjoyment to fans with their strong teamwork and healing-filled daily life.

On April 12th, YG Entertainment posted ‘BABYMONSTER – ‘Last Evaluation’ Behind The Scenes #4′ on its official channel. The video shows the seven trainees taking a break to recharge their energy before the competition.

Taking a break from the practice room, BABYMONSTER visited a large shopping mall with great anticipation. Their destination was a clothing store, where the members picked out their own styles and roamed around freely.

Their shopping styles are also diverse. While Ruka was thinking about spring styles, she ended up only picking black clothes. Pharita and Chiquita were too busy taking selfies to focus on shopping. On the other hand, Asa was busy laughing while being dragged around by Haram and Rora.

With their playful and energetic personalities, BABYMONSTER showed off their unique styles, from intense and hip looks to comfortable stylings that seemed effortless. The youngest member, Chiquita, seemed shy about showing off her own fashion, but her older sisters affectionately praised her, saying “You look pretty.”

The special moment of BABYMONSTER spending the holiday together for the first time was also revealed. Ahyeon, Haram, and Rora prepared Korean holiday food for the foreign members, such as boiled pork, rice cake, fried food, stir-fried glass noodles, pancake, and dumplings. The table was more abundant than usual, and the members couldn’t stop praising the delicious food.

Even during the holiday season, BABYMONSTER could be seen thinking about each other’s well-being. While Rora expressed her wish for everyone related to her to be happy, Ahyeon said, “We’ve all worked hard. I hope we can all finish our stage well.” Ruka named ‘longevity’ as her wish, making everyone laugh with her unexpected charm.

BABYMONSTER is YG’s upcoming 4th gen rookie girl group, the first YG girl group to debut after BLACKPINK in about seven years. Most of the trainees are teenagers, with three from Korea (Ahyeon, Haram, and Rora), two from Thailand (Pharita and Chiquita), and two from Japan (Ruka and Asa). BABYMONSTER’s debut reality show ‘Last Evaluation’ to select the final members airs every Friday at midnight KST.
