YG firmly stated, “We are taking strong legal action against posts that damaged the personality and reputation of our artist”.

In addition, the agency said, “We would like to inform you that we also sued and filed complaints against repeated uploads of contents of which authenticity has not been determined, defamation under the Information Communication Network Act. (the act of creating excessive malicious posts), violation of illegal information and distribution, and obscene use of communication media.”

Lastly, YG said, “All legal measures will be taken without leniency to prevent further damage in the future”, adding “Photos that have been circulated online were illegally released regardless of the distributor’s intentions. The act of sharing them can be considered a secondary offense and subject to legal punishment. We sincerely ask you to avoid sharing the photos recklessly.”
