YG Entertainment announced on December 7th, “We will hold the ‘2023 YG National Audition Tour’ from January 7th to February 12th, 2023.”
This public audition will be held offline for the first time in four years since the “National Tour with Audition Truck” in 2019.
Accordingly, YG will hold six auditions in five major cities across the country, including Daejeon, Daegu, Gwangju, Busan, and Seoul. It is expected that hidden gemstones will be seen up close to overcome the limitations of distance.
YG’s recruitment targets are young people born between 2004 and 2012 residing in Korea regardless of gender or nationality. However, it is limited to those who do not have a contractual relationship such as an agency. Applicants can choose one field they are most confident in among vocal, rap, dance, and visual.
Support is available both in advance and on site. Pre-application will be closed 5 days before the audition date for each region, and on-site registration is available by 2:00 pm KST on the same day.
YG Entertainment has been leading the K-pop craze in the global market by producing a large number of successful artists beyond Korea, such as BIGBANG, BLACKPINK, Winner, iKON, and Treasure.
