Actress Xu Jiao, best known for playing Stephen Chow’s on-screen son in the 2008 hit film CJ7, has gone viral after reuniting with the legendary filmmaker at the premiere of his latest movie, Kung Fu Soccer.
Nearly 18 years after CJ7 captivated audiences across Asia, Xu Jiao’s elegant appearance left many fans amazed by her remarkable transformation from beloved child star to accomplished actress.


According to Sina, Kung Fu Soccer Stephen Chow’s long-awaited new sports comedy has officially premiered in China after several delays and is already generating strong box office buzz. While the film’s debut attracted significant attention, one of the event’s biggest highlights was the reunion between Stephen Chow and Xu Jiao.

The pair shared a lighthearted conversation on stage that delighted fans. Stephen Chow jokingly greeted his former co-star by saying: “Long time no see. You’ve grown up so much! Did your mom come with you?” When Xu Jiao replied that her mother was also attending the event, Chow continued joking: “Looks like almost the whole family came.” Xu Jiao playfully responded: “I also have seven cats waiting at home!” The exchange drew laughter from the audience.
