On March 19, 815 VIDEO stated regarding the production cost of the “Overdrop” music video, “The total service fee amounts to ₩82.46 million. Of this, we received an advance payment of ₩16.5 million. However, the remaining ₩65.96 million has not been paid to date, even after the project was completed.”
“Overdrop” is a track released by Xiumin in October last year, for which the company produced both the main music video and a teaser video.
The production company explained, “After the payment deadline passed, we repeatedly requested the remaining balance and asked for official confirmation from Xiumin’s agency. However, following the departure of the staff member in charge at the time, we have yet to receive a clear response or a specific payment schedule.”
They continued, “The music video has already been released through official channels and is being used in the artist’s promotional activities. We have faithfully fulfilled all production obligations under the contract. Despite this, we deeply regret that the rightful payment has not been made for an extended period.”
Finally, the production company warned, “If the outstanding balance is not settled promptly, we will have no choice but to consider all necessary measures to protect our contractual rights.”
