Taiwan’s adult video star Wu Mengmeng, often dubbed “Taiwan’s No.1 AV actress,” has stunned fans with a raw confession on social media, sharing what she described as her “most ridiculous love story.”
“I got completely swept up just because he wanted to share a McDonald’s meal with me,” she began her post on Threads, recounting how an older brother of her high school friend left her utterly “lovestruck.”
Wu admitted they frequently had sex in unconventional places like cars and outdoors. When she proposed splitting the cost for a motel, she realized he was financially struggling. “That’s when I figured out he was broke,” she wrote.
What shocked readers the most, however, was how deeply she had fallen. “Every time we met, I would stuff his wallet with enough bills to make it look like he had NT$1,000. Later, he didn’t even bother keeping any bills in it.”
One particularly painful memory involved him calling her at 11 p.m. to wire money because he had taken another girl to a night view spot but couldn’t afford to pay. Despite living in a rural area, Wu walked 1 kilometer in the dark to send him money.
The emotional abuse didn’t end there. “His parents even asked me to buy lunch boxes for the whole family,” she recalled. “After sex at his place, he’d go hide in the bathroom and text me to leave because the girl he just watched the night view with agreed to date him.”
Years later, after Wu had entered college, fate reunited them briefly. Her ex tried to apologize during a car ride, saying: “I’ve never met anyone as kind (read: foolish) as you. Please give me another chance.”
But just then, his phone lit up. The screen showed a call from “baby”. Wu’s final response? “Uh, I sobered up. I’m out.”
Reflecting on the incident, she shared: “Thankfully, I later met someone who truly loved me. When you’ve experienced real love, you naturally graduate from being a girl desperate for love.”
