Taiwanese actors Wu Kang Ren and Ivy Shao have once again become the talk of the entertainment world after paparazzi captured the reunited couple spending nearly 16 hours together, including an affectionate visit to a hospital.

According to Taiwanese outlet CTWant, photographers followed the couple throughout a 16-hour date on June 17. Wu Kang Ren and Ivy Shao were seen arriving at a hospital together for a medical checkup, both wearing hats and face masks in an apparent effort to avoid attention.

Despite trying to keep a low profile, the pair didn’t hide their affection. They were photographed holding hands and embracing while riding an escalator and walking through the hospital lobby and cafeteria.

After leaving the hospital, Wu Kang Ren reportedly drove Ivy Shao home before purchasing medicine and dinner for her. Reports claimed the actress had been suffering from a serious illness and appeared noticeably pale during the outing.

The celebrity couple has become increasingly open about their rekindled romance in recent months. Earlier this year, during the Lunar New Year holiday, Ivy Shao shared a photo of herself leaning against Wu Kang Ren after a night of celebrating. In the image, the actor smiled at the camera while making a peace sign, delighting fans who praised the couple’s natural chemistry. Their recent public appearances have fueled speculation that the relationship is becoming increasingly serious.

According to China Times, Wu Kang Ren has reportedly purchased a four-story villa valued at around NT$50 million (approximately US$1.7 million) as the couple’s future marital home. While neither actor has publicly commented on marriage plans, the report has intensified speculation that wedding preparations may already be underway.

Ivy Shao, born in 1989, is known for starring in dramas such as: Back to 1989, The Perfect Match, Mars: Zero’s Revolution, The Perfect Secret and Love at Second Sight.

Wu Kang Ren, born in 1982, is widely regarded as one of Taiwan’s finest actors. He has earned critical acclaim throughout his career and most recently won the Best Actor (Golden Bell Awards) in 2026.

Before reuniting with Ivy Shao, Wu Kang Ren was frequently linked to several well-known actresses in Taiwan’s entertainment industry, earning a reputation as one of the island’s most high-profile leading men. Now, however, fans are hoping his renewed relationship with Ivy Shao will lead to a lasting happy ending.
