“Work Later, Drink Now 2” with the full cast of Season 1 finally announced the release date of its first episode
“Work Later, Drink Now”, which received favorable reviews from drama fans, has set the schedule for Season 2.
On October 25th, the production team of TVing’s original series “Work Later, Drink Now 2” announced the drama’s December release together with a poster.
“Work Later, Drink Now” is based on the webtoon “Drinker City Women” by Mikkang. It depicts the daily lives of three women whose belief in life is one drink at the end of the day.
Lee Sun-bin, Han Sun-hwa, and Jung Eun-ji showed off their chemistry as best friends and absolute drinkers, while Choi Si-won stood out with his pleasant charm as the only man in the main cast.
Telling stories that anyone can relate to, such as real friendship, the sorrows of office workers, and drinking scenes, “Work Later, Drink Now” attracted much attention as many scenes went viral online and the number of views for its official Youtube clips exceeded 60 million within one month and a half.
Especially, the drama also ranked No.1 among all original contents in terms of weekly paid subscriptions, setting an amazing record of being viewed by more than 400 million audiences in the first month of its release alone.
All the actors of Season 1’s main cast, including Jung Eun-ji, Han Sun-hwa, Lee Sun-bin, and Choi Si-won, will continue to appear in Season 2. Fans are also looking forward to the participation of Yoon Si-yoon in the new part.
Recently, a video showing the script reading scene and behind-the-scenes footage of “Work Later, Drink Now” filmings was released, drawing attention.
In the video, Jung Eun-ji, who plays Kang Ji-goo, introduced herself with a charismatic expression, and “Han Ji-yeon” Han Sun-hwa showed a brighter and more active image than what she had shown in Season 1.
