“‘Witch 2’ is doing even better than part 1 with over 2.5 million viewers,” appreciation posts from Park Hoon Jeong to Shin Si-ah

The movie “Witch 2” is captivating the theater this summer with its expanded worldview, stronger action, and the emergence of new characters.

The movie “Witch Part 2. The Other One” (hereinafter referred to as “Witch 2)” continues to be a steady hit, surpassing 2.5 million viewers. 

According to the Korean Film Council’s Korea Box-office Information System, “Witch 2” has recorded a cumulative audience of 2.5 million at of 9:50 a.m. on July 2nd, the 18th day after its release. “Witch 2” surpassed 1 million viewers on the 4th day and 2 million viewers on the 11th day of its release, showing a scary silent performance by maintaining the top at the box office despite the attacks of new films such as “Top Gun: Maverick” and “Decision to Leave”. 

Meanwhile, the main characters of “Witch 2” are drawing attention after releasing a thank-you shot for 2.5 million views. Director Park Hoon-jung expressed his gratitude briefly and strongly with a short “Thank you!”, while Shin Si-ah wrote, “Everyone, will you guys bring the Girl out of the Ark?“. “Everyone, I love you a lot, Cho Hyun♥,” said Seo Eun-soo, who played Cho Hyun. Other cast members also expressed their gratitude with their own sincere proof shot.  

“Witch 2”, which has been well-received by movie lovers due to its expanded worldview, upgraded scale, and unrivaled action scenes, is expected to continue its long-term success at the box office.
