WINNER Kang Seung Yoon will be “homeroom teacher” of survival show “Boys Fantasy”

Kang Seung Yoon, a member of boy group WINNER, will join the survival show “Boys Fantasy” as a homeroom teacher.

According to a report by Spotify News on February 23rd, Kang Seung Yoon of WINNER will take on the role of homeroom teacher in the MBC boy group audition program “Boy Fantasy”, and lead the show’s participants.

Produced by MBC and PD Han Dong Chul, who created “Produce 101”, “Show Me the Money”, and “Unpretty Rapstar’, “Boys Fantasy” is the second season of “My Teenage Girl”, which produced the girl group CLASS:y. This season drew attention with more than a thousand applicants from all over the world, heralding an expanded global audition compared to Season 1.

On the other hand, Kang Seung Yoon (also known as Seungyoon or Yoon), is a member of boy group WINNER under YG Entertainment. The group made their official debut in 2014, and has since received love from both domestic and foreign fans with numerous hit songs such as “Really Really”, “I Love U”, “Empty”, “Everyday”, and “Millions”. In WINNER, Kang Seung Yoon actively participated in writing lyrics and composing, and was recognized for his ability as a producer.

In addition, Kang Seung Yoon has a history of going through two survival programs, including Mnet’s “Superstar K” and “Win: Who is Next” before debuting as WINNER. Therefore, it is expected that he will be able to understand the hearts of “Boys Fantasy” contestants well. Previously, he also served as a judge and mentor on KBS2’s “The Legend, The New Singer” and Channel A’s “Stars Awakening”, giving warm advice to the participants and drawing attention from viewers.

Meanwhile, “Boys Fantasy” will be broadcast for the first time on March 23rd, and prior to this, the offline event “Hi! Fantasy” will be held at COEX on March 1st, where people can meet the participants for the first time.
