Who are the two men that BTS’s Jungkook collaborates with this time?

BTS’s Jungkook announced the news of a new single

Australian rapper The Kid Laroi took to his official SNS on October 11th to announce the release of a song called “TOO MUCH”, which he worked on with BTS’s Jungkook and British rapper Central Cee. The teaser video, released on YouTube, shows Jungkook, The Kid Laroi and Central Cee nodding along to the rhythm. The song is set to be released on October 20th.

Jungkook’s passion for hip-hop is ongoing. He collaborated with American rapper Latto on “Seven” and rapper Jack Harlow on “3D”. The release of the new single this time also hints at a collaboration with rappers, drawing the attention of not only BTS’s fandom “ARMY” and pop enthusiasts but also hip-hop fans.

Australian rapper The Kid Laroi is a familiar name to Korean music fans. Born in 2003, he’s known for his versatile skills in both singing and rapping. He’s a standout artist among Gen Z pop fans and gained significant popularity with his song “STAY”, a collaboration with Justin Bieber. It topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 7 weeks and accumulated over 2.7 billion streams (Spotify). The song was also well-received on Korean music charts. The Kid Laroi performed in Korea for the first time at KBS Arena in October last year and recently headlined at the Busan International Rock Festival.

Central Cee is a British rapper known for representing UK Drill, a subgenre of hip-hop that emerged in the UK. His songs, such as “Doja” and “Sprinter”, garnered significant attention in the UK and elevated his global recognition. In February, he made a surprise visit to Korea and performed with domestic rappers like BLASÉ and Chillin Homie.

Jungkook is set to release his first solo album “GOLDEN” on November 3rd. The album features a total of 11 tracks, including “Seven” and “3D”. Despite the grandeur of being part of boy group BTS, Jungkook’s achievements as a solo artist are overwhelming. He already secured No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with “Seven” and achieved over 800 million streams on Spotify. With “3D” featuring rapper Jack Harlow, he also secured No.5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making him the only Korean solo artist to have 2 songs in the top 5 on this chart. Fans are eagerly awaiting Jungkook’s golden moments to continue with “TOO MUCH”.
