The official trailer for the Korean version of “Money Heist” has been released but netizens’ reactions are divided
The official trailer for “Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area” has been unveiled.
On June 3rd, Netflix Korea uploaded the official trailer for “Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area” on Youtube along with the caption “Korea before unification, and 4 trillion won in unification currency. Our goal is the money that doesn’t exist in the world! Watch the greatest plan on earth, the most ingenious crime of all time!”.
In the trailer video that lasts for 2 minutes and 20 seconds, various actors, such as Yoo Ji-tae, Jeon Jong-seo, Park Hae-soo, Jang Yoon-joo, Kim Ji-hoon, Lee Hyun-woo, Kim Yoon-jin, etc. appeared, raising the tension of the drama.

A man called Professor (Yoo Ji-tae) suddenly appears in front of Tokyo (Jeon Jong-seo), who has been through all kinds of hardships of capitalism, and recruits her. He reveals his plan to steal 4 trillion won and disappear like the wind. Professor, who wants to change the reality that only wealthy Koreans benefit from the unification and become richer, gathers people with different abilities and forms a gang of robbers to proceed with an unprecedented idea of taking over the Korean Mint.
The gang of robbers covering their faces in Hahoetal masks enters the Unification Mint with the signal from the genius hacker Rio (Lee Hyun-woo) and quickly takes over the Mint. Berlin (Park Hae-soo), who leads the gang, divides the hostages into South Koreans and North Koreans, creating an intense atmosphere inside the Mint. In response to the situation, the two sides set up a joint response unit with negotiator Sun Woo-jin (Kim Yoon-jin) on the South Korean side and former special agent Cha Moo-hyuk on the North Korean side to respond with search and gun battles. Confusion occurs when variables, such as unexpected behaviors from the hostages who are scared as well as disagreements between the robbers. The appearance of the TF team also deepens their conflicts.
