According to Gaon Chart Gallery on the 13th, Red Velvet‘s mini-album ‘The ReVe Festival-Feel My Rhythm’, released in March, sold a total of 653,610 copies. Therefore, Red Velvet sold the most albums among female idol albums released in 2022.
The second place belongs to ‘LOVE DIVE’, released by the group IVE in April, with a total of 544,339 copies sold. Notably, Love Dive is only IVE’s 2nd album after its debut, showing the group’s rapidly rising popularity.
In third place is NMIXX’s debut album ‘AD MARE’ with a total sales of 476,772 copies. JYP’s girl group has sold an impressive number of albums right after their debut, showing the great expectations the public has for them.
