Video in remembrance of Moonbin posted by a lyricist who worked with Astro…”I still remember him singing it happily”
Lyricist Lee Seu Ran paid tribute to Moonbin.
On April 23rd, Lee Seu Ran posted a video showing Moonbin performing during his lifetime on her Instagram. In the video, Moonbin was having a happy time with his fans while singing the song “Your day”, in which Lee Seu Ran participated as a lyricist.
Lee Seu Ran mourned, “I don’t think I’ll ever be brave enough after today, so I’m leaving the image of the happiest moment. One of the happy moments as a lyricist is when I see artists singing my lyrics. That day remains a happy memory as well. Since it was a song that drew the image of making eye contact and singing together with fans, I still remember him singing it happily.“
At the same time, she expressed her longing for Moonbin by quoting a part of the lyrics of “Knock”, the first song she worked with Astro.
Lee Seu Ran wrote, “I close my eyes at night thinking of you / How far are you going to walk with a broken heart / I still miss miss miss you / You were looking for me in a distant dream / You are a star, more radiant than the moonlight / You’re calling me, Starry night / My heart is pounding every time you sparkle / I think I know where you are / I can feel your presence / Be the brightest star among all the other stars / As I follow the sparkle that leads to you Fly up / Shine brighter / Wake me up Wake me up from the darkness.“
In addition, she revealed a thank-you letter from Moonbin and Sanha. Moonbin and Sanha wrote, “Hello. This is Moonbin & Sanha. When we read the lyrics while listening to ‘Your day’, the joy seems to be doubled! Thank you for writing pretty lyrics. Please be careful not to catch a cold.“
Lee Seu Ran participated as a lyricist in IVE’s “Kitsch” and “ROYAL”, Moonbin & Sanha’s “Your day”, Nayeon’s “POP!”, Astro’s “Knock” and Red Velvet’s “Zimzalabim”.
