The July 13th broadcast of SBS Power FM’s “Choi Hwa-jung’s Power Time” featured girl group aespa, which made a comeback with their second mini album “Girls”, as a guest.
On this day, aespa mentioned about being invited to the UN to deliver a speech on the subject of sustainable development following BTS. aespa attended the “2022 High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development” held at the UN General Assembly Hall in New York on July 5th (local time) and delivered a two-minute speech.
When asked if she was nervous, Giselle, who gave the speech at that time, replied, “We didn’t have much time to practice since we didn’t know this schedule in advance. It was when we went to the United States to hold a showcase. We had to practice for the speech in a hurry. Fortunately, our company organized it well, so I think Karina and I did a good job.”
