TXT Yeon-jun, actress Roh Jeong-eui and actor Seo Beom-jun will be the new MCs of SBS’s “Inkigayo”.
An official in the entertainment industry said on March 15th, “Inkigayo is going to change their MCs. TREASURE Ji-hoon, NCT Sung-chan, and IVE Yu-jin will leave the MC positions. Starting from April, Yeon-jun, Roh Jeong-eui and Seo Beom-ju will join as the new team.”
Yeon-jun made his debut as a member of TXT in 2019. He has met the viewers as a special MC for “Inkigayo”, but this is his first time being chosen as a regular host.
Roh Jeong-eui recently played the role of NJ in SBS’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Our Beloved Summer”, making a breakthrough from her child actress image and establishing herself as a representative star in her 20s. With her energetic and refreshing hosting skills, she will be the only female MC in the new team.
Seo Beom-jun is a rookie actor who debuted through JTBC’s drama “Nevertheless”, which aired last year. He recently starred in TVing’s original series “Dr. Park’s Clinic”. Seo Beom-jun will become an MC for “Inkigayo” in the second year of his debut with an aim to increase his popularity.
The new chemistry created by the three MCs, Yeon-jun, Roh Jeong-eui and Seo Beom–jun, can be found on “Inkigayo” episodes to air next month.
