Trending K-drama pick-up lines: asking to see butterflies or drink tea is actually an invitation for more skinship?

These sweet and romantic K-drama scenes gain the interest of netizens.

K-drama couples these days always ask one basic thing but actually strive for way more. The following heart-fluttering scenes capture much attention.

1. “Do you want to go see butterflies?”  – Jae Eon

This list begins with the “legendary” pick-up line in “Nevertheless“. In order to lure Na Bi (Han So Hee) into his love trap, Jae Eon (Song Kang) continues to show his flirty side, making her heart flutter. In the bar scene in episode 1, Jae Eon asks Na Bi: “Do you want to go see butterflies?” and the location is at his house. This question is actually meant to seduce Na Bi. Recognizing his intention, Na Bi shyly refuses but later still can’t help but fall for this bad boy, so deeply so that she can’t even get out.

2. “Do you want to come over to my house for jujube tea?”  – Choi Woong

5 years after their breakup, Choi Woong (Choi Woo Sik) and Yeon Soo (Kim Da Mi) officially fall in love again in episode 11 of “Our Beloved Summer“. The two start dating, eating together, hanging out, taking each other home. Choi Woong takes the initiative to invite Yeon Soo over to drink jujube tea. Originally, this jujube tea is bought, dried and brought to Choi Woong by Yeon Soo to help him with his insomnia.  However, as soon as they arrive home, instead of jujube tea, the viewers can only see the couple snuggling on a sofa.

3. “I want to make you some coffee” – Young Ro

A “coffee” kiss between Young Ro (Jisoo) and Soo Ho (Jung Hae In) came at the end of “Snowdrop” episode 11 after a series of incidents that made netizens cry. Accordingly, Young Ro actively invited Soo Ho into their old shelter. They drank coffee together to forget the unhappy memories. To close the episode, Soo Ho gave Young Ro a kiss instead of a confession. Because he couldn’t resist his affection, he continued to kiss Young Ro as a very sweet apology.
