“Traffic accident” LE SSERAFIM Kim Chae-won and Huh Yun-jin… “We’ll recover quickly and tear up the stage”
Group LE SSERAFIM’s leader Kim Chae-won and member Huh Yun-jin delivered their current status after being injured in a car accident.
In the morning of Oct 20th, leader Kim Chae-won said through the fan communication platform Weverse, “FEARNOT (fandom name)~ I’m fine. Don’t worry too much! I’ll recover quickly and go back to tear up the stage.”
Member Huh Yun-jin posted on Weverse on the same day, “FEARNOT! You must have been surprised, right? We’re really okay, so you don’t have to worry.”
She added, “I want to show performances and meet FEARNOT quickly, but I’m sad that it’s been delayed a little bit. We’ll meet again soon! We’ll be recovering well to tear up the stage.”
According to LE SSERAFIM‘s agency Source Music on Oct 19th, the vehicle where Kim Chae-won and Huh Yun-jin were inside got into an accident.
The agency explained, “Fortunately, neither the members nor the accompanying staff members were seriously injured. They were quickly taken to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment. As a result of detailed examinations, both members suffered mild muscle pain and bruises. The medical staff advised that conservative treatment is needed for the time being.”
In the aftermath of the traffic accident, LE SSERAFIM canceled schedules such as Mnet’s “M Countdown” on Oct 20th and KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank” on Oct 21st.
LE SSERAFIM released their second mini-album “ANTIFRAGILE” and resumed their activities on Oct 17th.
