Touching reason why SHINee Minho lifted the No.1 trophy up in the sky during Inkigayo encore stage

Fans were deeply touched by SHINee Minho’s action on the recent music show encore stage.

On July 9th, SHINee’s comeback song “Hard” achieved No.1 in the second week of July on SBS’s music program “Inkigayo”.

The win was more meaningful as SHINee managed to beat popular girl groups, such as aespa with “Spicy” and LE SSERAFIM with “Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard’s wife”.

After receiving the No.1 trophy, SHINee members performed an encore stage for “Hard” amid enthusiastic cheers from fans.

During the encore performance, Minho drew attention as he kept staring at the trophy and then suddenly lifted it up to face the sky. While holding the trophy up high for a long time, he smiled brightly and happily.

Seeing Minho’s action, SHINee fans speculated that he did it because he wanted to share the joy with the late member Jonghyun.

Last month, at SHINee’s solo concert, the members also touched the hearts of fans as they showed gestures reminiscent of Jonghyun.

During the ment section, fans noticed that Key and Minho stood close to each other while Taemin was a little far away to leave a space between them.

In this regard, a fan said, “This can be my own feeling and opinion. At first, I wondered why Minho and Ki Bum (Key’s real name) were standing too close to each other”, adding “After watching all three days of the concert, I realized that the space between Minho and Taemin was actually the position of Jonghyun”. This comment spread widely among SHINee fans and became a hot topic.

Meanwhile, the title song “Hard” of SHINee’s 8th full album is a hybrid hip-hop dance song that mixes different genres, such as R&B and hip-hop. Right after its release, the song topped various music charts, including iTunes Top Album Chart and Digital Album Sales Chart on the Chinese music platform QQ Music.
