A top-tier Chinese male star was recently accused of getting a partner pregnant and urging her to get an abortion.
According to Chinese bloggers, back on May 20th and 21st, top-tier Chinese star, Cai Xukun, met with a girl (hereinafter referred to as “C”) at a karaoke bar in Beijing and slept with her.
After a month, C went for a health check-up and upon discovering that she was pregnant, contacted Cai Xukun. The male singer then urged C to have an abortion, and C ended up terminating her pregnancy on July 5th.
There has also been a video recording said to be between Cai Xukun’s mother and C, with the former offering to pay C 500,000 Chinese yuan (around 70,000 USD) to stay silent. A photo, said to be C holding an abortion confirmation, is also making its round across SNS platforms.
At the same time, a footage, which filmed C’s front door, is also being spread. It is alleged that Cai Xukun’s mother, who does not believe in C’s claims of being pregnant with her son’s child, hired a private investigator to follow C and installed a spy cam in front of her door.
Based on this “spy cam” footage, three people appeared at C’s house, including C, C’s best friend, and her best friend’s boyfriend. C was reportedly seen going out with her best friend’s boyfriend until 3 AM.
Accordingly, Cai Xukun’s mother allegedly shared this video with the staff and presented various hypotheses as below:
- C is faking the pregnancy.
- C’s best friend is pregnant but impersonating C to extort money.
- C is pregnant with someone else’s child.
Upon seeing all the ongoing rumors, Chinese netizens were shocked by the serious privacy violation that was committed by Cai Xukun’s mother, should they be true.
On the other hand, Cai Xukun is also known by his stage name, KUN. He gained huge popularity as the center of the Chinese boy group Nine Percent, and was a member of the variety show “Keep Running” (Chinese version of “Running Man”) from 2020 to 2022.
With his vast successes in the music and entertainment field, Cai Xukun is considered a top-tier star in the Chinese showbiz. He worked with BLACKPINK Lisa as a fellow mentor on the audition program “Youth With You Season 2”, and the two even became entangled in a dating rumor.
