Japanese singer GACKT drew attention by revealing his unique shopping habit

On November 23rd, popular Japanese singer GACKT appeared on Fuji TV’s program “Pokapoka” and drew attention by confessing to his unusual shopping habit of buying several of the same clothes.

In the program, GACKT said that he basically does not enjoy shopping and does not make impulsive purchases. “I basically don’t do impulse buying,” he said, adding, “However, when I buy out of necessity or shop for a purpose, people often look at me a little strange.”

The singer said, “When I try on clothes and feel that they fit my current body shape, I think, ‘I can’t wear anything other than this shirt anymore.” “As soon as I think about that, I buy all the shirts in the store,” he explained, drawing attention.

A photo of the two-tier clothing rack in GACKT’s house was revealed and it showed the same shirts. Seeing 50 identical clothes hanging in the photo, the studio was filled with exclamations of astonishment.

Meanwhile, GACKT made his successful debut as a solo artist in 1995 with the single “MIzerable” and sold a total of 390,000 copies of his mini album and single. Later in 2005, he attracted many Korean fans after releasing his 5th album “Love Letter” in both Korea and Japan. GACKT introduced his Korean full album and appeared on MBC’s “Wednesday Art Stage”.
