With Big Bang making a comeback for the first time in about four years, T.O.P’s official profile has been changed.
If you search for Big Bang on the Korean portal site NAVER on March 22nd, the profile pictures of G-Dragon, Daesung, and Taeyang remain the same, while the profile picture of T.O.P has been changed. In addition, unlike other members’ profiles which say YG Entertainment, T.O.P has deleted the agency’s name on his online profile. At the bottom of the profile page, there is the phrase “Contributed by themselves in 2022.03.22”. This means the profile was changed at the request of T.O.P and his representative.
Earlier in an interview with the magazine Prestige Hong Kong, T.O.P said, “I have been suffering from depression since I was a child. Five years ago, I made an extreme choice. I finally realized how much pain and hurt I caused to the people around me, my family and my fans.”
Regarding this comeback, T.O.P also hinted at his withdrawal, saying, “This comeback song includes a message to fans and a message about why I’m taking a break from Big Bang.” Meanwhile, Big Bang is planning to make a comeback on April 5th.
