This month’s rankings witnessed the absolute dominance of the 74-year-old female actor who just won an Oscar Award – Youn Yuh Jung.

On May 30, the Korean Business Research Institute announced the brand rankings for active actors in May. This is also a ranking of the 30 hottest actors in Korea today, based on the data from April 30 to May 30.

This month’s chart witnessed the outstanding breakthrough of 74-year-old female star Youn Yuh Jung.  Thanks to her miracle at the prestigious Oscars ceremony, star Minari excelled at the top with a record-high brand reputation index, far ahead of a series of juniors.  Song Joong Ki also excelled in taking second place with the heat from the blockbuster Vincenzo.  The couple Hyun Bin – Son Ye Jin also entered the top 10, while Song Hye Kyo could not enter the top 30.
