Chinese entertainment circles were thrown into chaos on the morning of March 14 after influencer Jiuchengmei held an emotional livestream accusing rising actor Tian Xuning of infidelity and hiding the fact that he had fathered a child with another woman.

According to Chinese outlet Sohu, the influencer—who has around 2.3 million followers on Douyin—appeared on livestream in tears as she publicly detailed her relationship with the actor. Jiuchengmei claimed that she had dated Tian Xuning for two years before their relationship ended in January 2024.

However, she later discovered that Tian Xuning had been involved with another woman during their relationship and had even welcomed a child with her. The baby was reportedly born in August 2024. Based on that timeline, Jiuchengmei concluded that she had unknowingly been cheated on while still dating the actor.

During the livestream, she also accused Tian Xuning’s current girlfriend of repeatedly harassing her. According to the influencer, the actor cut off contact with her after suddenly rising to fame thanks to the 2025 hit drama Revenged Love.

 

In an attempt to prove that their relationship was real, Jiuchengmei shocked viewers by posting multiple intimate photos of herself with Tian Xuning during their time together. The livestream and photo leak quickly triggered a massive online discussion across Chinese social media platforms.

The broadcast soon shot to No.1 on Weibo’s hot search rankings on the morning of March 14. However, just as thousands of viewers began flooding into the livestream to watch the allegations unfold, the broadcast was suddenly cut off and locked by the platform for violating community guidelines.

Some netizens speculated that Tian Xuning’s side may have contacted the platform to shut down the stream before more damaging claims could be revealed, although this has not been confirmed. As of now, the actor and his team have not released any official response regarding the accusations.

The scandal adds to a series of controversies that have surrounded Tian Xuning since his rapid rise to fame. Born in 1997, the actor was largely unknown before skyrocketing to popularity with Revenged Love in 2025. At the height of the drama’s popularity, he reportedly occupied 10 positions simultaneously on Weibo’s trending search list, while his follower count surged by over 1 million within a week.

But the sudden fame was quickly overshadowed by a wave of relationship scandals. Within days of his breakout success, several women came forward online accusing him of unfaithfulness. At least five different women have shared alleged evidence or photos of intimate moments with the actor.

In July 2025, several of his rumored partners reportedly created a group chat dubbed the “ex-girlfriend alliance,” where they shared details about his complicated dating history. One particularly shocking claim alleged that Tian Xuning encouraged a girlfriend to give birth because he believed having a child would bring good fortune to his career according to his fate.

Meanwhile, the controversy surrounding Revenged Love has also drawn regulatory attention. Reports claim that both Tian Xuning and his co-star Song Ziyu may have been placed on an industry watchlist after the series allegedly bypassed broadcasting regulations.

For years, LGBTQ+ themed romance dramas have faced strict restrictions in China. Following the controversy, the series was reportedly removed from streaming platforms, its fan community on Weibo deleted, and related search terms restricted.

With Tian Xuning yet to respond and the livestream already fueling intense debate, the scandal has quickly become one of the most explosive entertainment stories in Chinese social media this week.
