Three hints that “Doctor Cha” need to solve in the remaining episodes

As JTBC’s “Doctor Cha” has gone halfway, viewers are looking forward to how the story will develop in the latter part.

JTBC’s Sat-Sun drama “Doctor Cha” tells about the struggles that Cha Jung Sook (Uhm Jung Hwa) faces when becoming a first-year resident after being a housewife for 20 years. According to Nielsen Korea, the nationwide rating of episode 10 rose to 18%, becoming the 4th highest rating record on JTBC.

In the latest episode, Cha Jung Sook discovered that her husband Seo In Ho (Kim Byung Chul) has been having an affair with Choi Seung Hee (Myung Se Bin) and the existence of a child out of wedlock. Attention is also focused on the details that will be solved in the remaining episodes as well as how the stories of various characters and Cha Jung Sook’s growth will be revealed.

The first unsolved hint is the persistent shoulder pain of Jung Sook’s mother Oh Deok Rye (Kim Mi Kyung). Earlier, Jung Sook’s friend Baek Mi Hee (Baek Joo Hee) suggested getting a diagnostic examination for the shoulder and they visited family medicine professor Choi Seung Hee but received a diagnosis of no significant abnormalities. However, Oh Deok Rye continues to complain about shoulder pain and keeps applying relief patches to the painful areas even after the examination.

As the shoulder pain is repeated in multiple episodes, various speculations and suspicions, including a misdiagnosis by Choi Seung Hee, also appear. Many are questioning how this shoulder pain experienced by Oh Deok Rye will be explained in the next episodes.

The second detail is the family background of doctor Roy Kim (Min Woo Hyuk), who is Cha Jung Sook’s colleague. The introduction for Roy Kim indicates that he is an overseas adoptee and that he wants to find his birth parents who abandoned him. While the specific details of how Roy Kim came to Korea and his family background have not been revealed so far, there is a growing interest in the upcoming episodes to uncover Roy Kim’s story.

Another hint is the relationship between Jung Sook’s mother-in-law Kwak Ae Shim (Park Joon Geum) and a suspicious professor. There have been consistent scenes depicting the two having a close relationship and hinting at their involvement in fraud in several episodes. The professor recommends Ae Shim make a substantial investment in building a silver town, and Ae Shim considers using a building under Cha Jung Sook’s name as a mortgage loan.

In particular, in recent episodes, the suspicious behavior of the professor who suggests a large investment to Ae Shim was revealed. When Ae Shim said she would consult with her children about the investment, the professor urged her not to let anyone else know about it. Based on this detail, many viewers raise doubts about whether the professor’s investment proposal to Ae Shim is fraud.

In addition, the love line of Jung Sook’s son Jung Min (Song Ji Ho) and his girlfriend So Ra (Jo Ah Ram), as well as the question of whether Jung Sook will be having a divorce and the direction of her love line, are also attracting attention. Therefore, “Doctor Cha” fans are eagerly anticipating what stories will unfold in the remaining six episodes.
