An actor who refers to actress Lim Ji Yeon as ‘Wifey’ is attracting attention.
On the YouTube channel ‘Artist Company,’ a video titled “24 Hours with Ji Yeon” was posted on May 25th.
In the video, Lim Ji Yeon said, “Now I’m heading to the shooting location for a commercial in Namyangju.” The commercial shoot is done with actor Jung Sung Il, who played Lim Ji Yeon’s husband in the Netflix series “The Glory.”
Lim Ji Yeon said, “I received a text message from Jung Sung Il saying that he’s really looking forward to (the shoot),” and she revealed that Jung Sung Il still calls her ‘Wifey.’ Lim Ji Yeon also shared an anecdote related to the nickname, saying that she is sometimes surprised by it.
She said, “I was surprised when a man sent a text message calling me ‘Wifey.’ He called me that even on set. We haven’t seen each other for a long time because we are so busy.“
At the commercial shooting location, Lim Ji Yeon and Jung Sung Il posed with smiling faces and took a cute photo together.
Meanwhile, Lim Ji Yeon publicly announced her relationship with actor Lee Do Hyun, who is five years younger than her, when they appeared together on “The Glory” in January. Last month, at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards, where she won Best Supporting Actress in the TV category, Lim Ji Yeon openly mentioned her boyfriend Lee Do Hyun in her acceptance speech and expressed her affection.
