This Korean actor behind “most handsome Disney character” is said to look even more dashing than Hyun Bin?
This actor is nicknamed “the most attractive mixed actor” on the Korean small screen.
In 2014, the Disney animated movie “Big Hero 6” became a hot topic after winning the Oscars, as the story of genius boy Hiro and his gentle robot Baymax managed to sway hearts. However, in the movie, one character that appeared only for a few minutes managed to snatch the spotlight – and it is none other than Hiro’s brother Tadashi Hamada – the creator of Baymax and “the most handsome Disney character”.
Surprisingly, the voice actor of Tadashi in “Big Hero 6” is a no less dashing face.
In particular, Korean-American actor Daniel Henney was in charge of voicing Tadashi. Born in 1979, Daniel actually debuted as a model and worked in this realm for a couple years before branching into acting.
One of Daniel’s most iconic works was the 2005 series “My Lovely Sam Soon”, where he starred alongside famous actor Hyun Bin. At the time, the duo was said to be the most dashing duo on the small screen, and they also developed a close friendship that lasted until today.

Across his career, Daniel Henney has acted alongside many famous stars like Han Hyo Joo, Uhm Jung Hwa, Rain, etc, and worked with various well-known directors like Park Chan Wook and Hwang Dong Hyuk.
At the peak of his career, however, Daniel Henney decided to go to America and attempted to enter Hollywood in 2009, playing a small role in the movie “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”. However, he struggled amid the heavy competition of Hollywood, and would maintain his presence on the Korean screen. As of the moment, Daniel has starred in various action projects like “Hawaii Five-0”, “NCIS”, and “Criminal Minds”.
In 2014, the actor was chosen to voice Tadashi Hamada in the animated movie “Big Hero 6”, drawing huge attention. He then continued to be in charge of this character from 2017 to 2019 in “Big Hero 6: The Series”.
Now at the age of 42, Daniel has established for himself a stable career, which is neither explosive nor a flop. He is currently a cast member for Amazon’s “The Wheel of Time”, and has finished filming for the upcoming movie “Confidential Assignment 2”, which also stars Hyun Bin, Yoona, and Yoo Hae Jin.
