The rankings of Top 10 K-drama topics and Top 10 Most Popular K-drama casts for the 2nd week of November have been announced.
On November 15th, Good Data Corporation released their “K-drama TV Topic Survey List”, which is compiled every week based on the results of netizens searching for TV programs, performers, and related issues via portal sites.
According to this compilation, actress Kim Hye Soo takes first place in the “Top 10 Most Popular Drama Casts” with her role in the tvN drama “Under the Queen’s Umbrella”, maintaining her position since the 3rd week of October. Following Kim Hye Soo are Park Min Young (tvN’s “Love in Contract”), Yook Sung Jae (MBC’s “The Golden Spoon”), Nam Goong Min (SBS’s “One Dollar Lawyer”), and Han Ji Hyun (SBS’s “Cheer Up”), respectively.
tvN’s Saturday and Sunday drama “Under the Queen’s Umbrella” is actress Kim Hye Soo’s first comeback in a historical drama after 20 years. The series revolves around a fierce battle for royal education of trouble-prone princes, and is broadcast every Saturday and Sunday at 9:10 PM (KST).
With its 10th episode, which aired on November 13th, “Under the Queen’s Umbrella” continues its popularity by achieving a personal viewership rating record of 12.29% (provided by Nielsen Korea).
On the other hand, in the Top 10 K-drama topics rankings, tvN’s “Under the Queen’s Umbrella” ranked first, followed by MBC’s “The Golden Spoon”, SBS’ “Cheer Up”, SBS’ “One Dollar Lawyer”, and KBS’ “Bad Prosecutor”, in 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th places, respectively.
