Following Jin, J-Hope also announced that he has applied for the cancellation of enlistment postponement on February 26th.
In particular, J-Hope enlistment could be delayed until the end of next year when he turns 30 at the recommendation of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism. However, the BTS member decided to cancel the postponement and enlist as soon as he is called.

J-Hope (real name Jung Ho Seok) was born in Gwangju. Before making his debut with BTS, J-Hope was a street dancer. He went to the same dance academy with TVXQ U-Know Yunho, 2NE1 Gong Minzy, Ladies’ Code Zuny, and HolyBang Hertz.
With his outstanding dance skills, J-Hope participated in dance contests and won several prizes, including 1st place in a national dance competition.
J-Hope was so famous among underground dancers that when he debuted and appeared on TV as a member of BTS, many trainees recognized him, saying “Ah, that’s the group of Jung Ho Seok, right?”.
In addition, there is a famous anecdote about J-Hope’s trainee days. When J-Hope decided to leave the company and return to Gwangju because he was too tired of being a trainee, member RM persuaded the company to keep J-Hope. Jungkook tried to hold J-Hope and told him not to go. In the end, the two hugged each other and cried.
At that time, J-Hope really wanted to give up and leave the company. However, after hearing RM’s persuasion, he returned and successfully debuted with BTS members.
