Singer Park Jin-young’s past remarks about ‘one-night stand’ recently became a hot topic again.
An article titled, “A celebrity who talked about one-night stand experience on a show”, was posted on the online community FOMOS on April 11th.
On a broadcast of MBC’s entertainment show “Golden Fishery” in March 2007, when MC Kang Ho-dong asked about the rumor of Park Jin-young having a one-night stand during his college days. In response, Park Jin-young said, “I’ve done it only 3 times”.
He continued, “When I did it for the first time, ‘It doesn’t suit me’ was what came to my mind. In the second time, I thought ‘I won’t do it again’”, adding, “Regardless of whether it is right or wrong, it doesn’t suit me at all”.
Regarding the public’s opinion over him being frankly about sexual issues, Park Jin-young explained, “It is true that I sang sexy songs, did sexy dances, and said ‘sex is a game’”, adding, “But that’s all the things ‘between lovers’”.
He then complained, “I was just talking about how lovers have fun in their relationship, but I feel like I’m getting called a promiscuous person just because I talk about those things”
He added, “You can openly talk about enjoying sexual things with your girlfriend but not anyone else”, adding, “It’s worse to hide the purpose of having one-night stands or deceive someone whom you don’t even love into having a one-night stand by saying ‘I love you’”.
Meanwhile, Park Jin-young, who has devoted himself to his career as a producer, recently announced that he would return to his main job as a singer and release a new song this autumn, raising fans’ expectations.
